DoseFlow ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the DoseFlow mobile application.

1. Privacy-First & Local Storage

DoseFlow is built with a strict privacy-first approach. All your personal data, medication records, dosage schedules, water intake logs, and adherence statistics are stored exclusively on your local device (using an encrypted SQLite database). We do not operate remote servers to store, collect, or process your personal health information.

2. Data Collection & Usage

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or rent any personally identifiable information (PII) or sensitive health data to third parties. Specifically:

• Medication & Health Data: Stored 100% locally on your device. Never uploaded to external servers.
• Account Data: DoseFlow does not require registration, login, or user account creation.
• Analytics & Tracking: DoseFlow does not use third-party tracking, advertising SDKs, or invasive analytics tools.

3. Device Permissions

To provide core features, DoseFlow requests minimal Android system permissions:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used solely to trigger scheduled medication reminders and alarm alerts locally on your device.
• Exact Alarms (USE_EXACT_ALARM / SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Used to ensure precise scheduling of medication reminders.

4. Data Backup and Export

Because your data is stored locally, any data backups or exports (such as CSV or JSON reports) are triggered manually by you and saved to locations you select on your device.

5. Children's Privacy

DoseFlow does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted by the app, parents can feel confident in local-only data storage.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
